Being two sons of two soccer-playing immigrants, growing up playing "soccer"in our beloved homeland USA; I was lucky enough to have great coaches and colleagues who were veteran career-professional and Ex-National Team players from the Premier Leagues of England, Netherlands, Venezuela, Ecuador, and Colombian National Teams.
I earned several field and goalkeeping licenses under the USSF and United Soccer Coaches, then went on to play and coach in the Netherlands at Amateur level and later the Professional level...after countless "...not ____ enough..." from almost every coach and team in the USA who I contacted about playing for them.
This proved my theory that the majority of American coaches have no realistic experience of the game...I was good enough for the Pros in Europe, but not the United States' MLS (Europe's retirement league).
di Fazio Brothers AFC is about developing talent within, and finding better opportunities, for devout players. I came back home to the USA with the hope and dream of teaching others to teach themselves how to achieve success, no matter the negativity they are met with...THAT is the true spirit of a winner.
